5th Annual Stand Tall Memorial BBQ

We know everyone is tired of the snow and looking forward to Partying Like A Puchacz at this year's 5th Annual Stand Tall Memorial BBQ!

It's hard to think that it's been almost five years since James passed. We started this event not caring if we made $2 or $2,000, we just wanted to gather all of our friends and family together to celebrate James' life!

We’re touched by all the love that has poured into this cause since then. Thanks to your help, over $35,000 has been raised for the Stand Tall Scholarship in memory of James and we're so excited how this event has continued to evolve over the years.

This year, we cannot be happier to host another Summer BBQ! Bring on the live music, lawn games, bonfire, and BBQ buffet!
Here are the details so you don’t miss out:

More about Maggie: Maggie Philbrook was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer, in February 2013, just a few weeks before her 13th birthday. Maggie responded well to treatment, but just about a month and a half before the anticipated end of her chemotherapy, we found that the cancer spread to her spine and the protective covering of her brain.  On February 1, 2014, at 13 years old, Maggie lost her fight.  She is greatly missed by her parents, brother, sister, many other family members, & friends.

Maggie was a percussionist who said she liked "to play loud things."  Through Maggie's Beat, we hope to keep Maggie's drum and heart beats alive.
